Lindsay Roden Dance Academy has created a Competitive Dance Team to encourage students to grow and learn in a fun, interactive and inviting atmosphere. The dance team is established through an audition process. The team will work on advancing their training, skills and gain more performance experience. The team will take part in 3 dance competitions.
*The Dance Team requires a high level of commitment and teamwork from each of its participants.

Q: Requirements to be part of LRDA Dance Team?
A: Candidates who audition or are assessed will be looked upon for the following; flexibility, co-ordination, retention of choreography, performance qualities and how well they work with their peers.
Q: What is a dance competition?
A: Dance competitions offer group entries, solos, duets etc. to compete against other children of the same age and dance genre. Their is a panel of judges who offer participants feedback on their performance.
Q: Benefits of dance competitions/Dance Teams?
A: Advances a dancers technique, skill and strength. Teaches them teamwork, discipline and commitment.
Q: How do the auditions work?
A: The auditions will be held in June or through a private assessment.
